Le texte de ma pétition demandant que la vidéo devienne la norme dans les Tribunaux suisses a été traduit en anglais par M. Gerhard Ulrich et je le remercie très vivement.
PETITION: VIDEO MOVIES SHALL BECOME THE NORM IN THE SWISS COURTS.
Presently, only the concerned judiciary instance is deciding, whether to admit Video movies during a given trial. This is limiting the use of Videos dramatically, although this technology is useful and easy to handle.
For improving the transparency and the observation of the principle Human Rights, as granted by the articles 7 til 36 of the Federal Constitution, the general use of Video movies in the Swiss courts hast to be imposed.
Articles 7 (human dignity), 8 (equality), 9 (protection against arbitrariness and rules of good faith) and 29 til 35 of the Federal Constitution are being infringed too often by the Magistrates. Video movies are granting to the citizens in the future to be able to defend more efficiently their rights.
If you wish to read these articles of the Swiss Federal Constitution, you will find them under this Link:
Video movies will improve as well the filing/archiving of the judiciary procedures.
It has to be pointed out that Video movies are already commonly used in the courts of different countries, as the USA, Great Britain and France.
The signers of this Petition are inviting the Members of the Federal Parliamentary Chambers and the Federal Council to let the use of Video movies to become the standard in the Swiss courts, except insignificant procedures. The movies will be freely accessible for the parties of a trial, the witnesses and the Mass Media, as well as for the public, provided that the trial is public. Thank you in advance to amend the law accordingly as soon as possible.
Acknowledgment to all persons who will sign this Petition and have it circulated further.
